Fee

The Fee field specifies the dollar amount charged for processing a client's transaction at an ATM or POS terminal. This amount is deducted from the balance of one of the client’s authorized benefits at the time the transaction is approved.

If the client’s balance is not sufficient to cover the requested amount plus the fee, the transaction may be denied. The fee for transactions is determined by each state.
